Frequently asked questions

Apartment

Who can use the swimming pool?

The swimming pool is reserved for residents of the apartment block. We will give you a key for the entrance. It is large and is cleaned daily. You can use the grassy area around the pool all day from 10am to 10pm.

Where can I park my car?

We have a parking space in the secure garage under the apartment that you can use. There is a lift from the garage to the apartment.

Do I need a car?

We recommend that you have a car so you can easily visit local and regional attractions. But it isn't necessary. There is a bus from Roquetas de Mar to Almeria, and we can arrange a taxi between the airport and the flat for €45 - the driver will meet you at the airport. There is also an tour company that will pick you up near the apartment for day trips.

Rental rates and bookings

What is the rental rate and why does it change throughout the year?

You can see the prices for your dates of interest on the calendar on the Clivia Vista home page.  We offer a substantial discount outside the peak summer season.

Do you offer a discount for staying for longer periods?

We will reduce the rate for stays of two or more weeks, so please contact us prior to making a booking request. Longer-term stays are also possible - for example, we have guests who stay 1 to 2 months over winter. Please contact us for details.

How can I book?

You can request a booking through this website, via a credit card or bank transfer. Or you can book through TripAdvisor. The prices are higher on TripAdvisor because a substantial fee for TripAdvisor is included in the price.

Will I have a contract if I book through this site?

Yes!  You can download the terms and conditions in English or Spanish.  It is valid for UK courts if you live in the UK, or Spanish courts if you live in Spain or elsewhere.

Practicalities of your visit

Is any information available about the flat or the local area so I can plan my holiday?

Before you arrive, we send you detailed information about the apartment to help you with packing.  We also send you information about local area with lots of ideas for things to do so you can plan your holiday if you wish.

How will you meet me when I arrive?

Our Spanish family lives locally in Roquetas de Mar.  They will normally meet you on arrival to give you the keys and are available to answer any questions or deal with any issues that you encounter.  You might even see them around town too!

Do I need to clean the flat when I leave?

We clean the apartment before you arrive, to COVID-19 protocols, and after you leave. We ask you to look after the apartment as if it were your own home, and to keep it tidy.

What should I do with the keys when I leave?

You can leave the keys on the living room table.
